Law School's Surprise

I've been married for five years now and things were pretty vanilla up until last month. One day, my husband suggested we try something new, something he had been curious about since before we even started dating. We ended up playing mommy/daddy, yes, I was the mommy in this setup. To be honest, it felt more like a role play than anything else, but there were definitely emotional undertones that surprised me. He acted like a naughty child who needed guidance and discipline, and surprisingly enough, being the one to guide him brought out a side of myself I hadn't explored before. It was intriguing how such an unusual dynamic could lead to a deeper level of intimacy between us. Afterward, we laughed about it over wine, acknowledging that our lives were becoming more interesting than our law textbooks.
