Lost Innocence in Law School

Anonymous Candy Cub #328 · General Confessions

Since starting law school, I've felt like an outsider. The stress and competition wear on me daily. Last week, during a break from classes, feeling particularly down, I met someone older who understood my struggle better than anyone else could. We ended up at their place, and though we didn't discuss it beforehand, they took care of me in ways that went beyond just comfort. It felt both relieving and isolating at the same time. Now, every time I pass by the spot where we first met, old feelings resurface, making this new chapter of my life more complicated than ever.
