Newfound Kink Awakening
Anonymous Playful Pixie #660 · General Confessions
I never thought I would be into something like this, but lately it's all been swirling around in my head. It started with a little bit of curiosity and ended up taking over my entire psyche. I mean, I've always had pretty traditional views on relationships, right? But something about the idea of being controlled, of giving up that precious sense of autonomy for just moments, turns me on more than anything else has in years. I'll never forget how it all began, I was talking to a patient who was into DDLG and mentioned casually that he'd found it incredibly freeing. Freeing! It's so contradictory, isn't it? How could giving up control be free? And yet... Anyway, I started reading about the dynamics involved, parental figures doling out discipline with loving hands, children finding safety in obedience. The more I learned, the more I began to realize that my own need for structure and guidance had a lot to do with it. It's like an unspoken yearning that I've always tried to suppress. The other day, I found myself imagining what it would be like if someone took charge, someone kind, but firm, and guided me through some tough times in my life. I got so lost in the fantasy that I had trouble concentrating at work! Can you believe it? Me, losing focus because of an intense internal debate about whether or not to explore something new. I think what gets me most is the idea of being on a strict schedule with routines and expectations. It's like part of my brain just lights up when I imagine that kind of structured attention. There’s also this weird mix of wanting to be taken care of, even though it feels so uncharacteristic of who I am as an independent woman in her 30s. So here I am, confessing all of this to the world, or at least to a corner of the internet that might understand. It's exhilarating and scary at the same time, but mostly it just feels really freeing. Who knew I had these sorts of desires deep down? And now that I’ve acknowledged them, there’s no going back.
