Forgot My Place

I was supposed to take out the trash as a consequence for leaving dirty dishes in the sink earlier. Instead, I sat down with my phone and lost track of time. When she found me, she gave me a firm talking-to and made me do it right away. It felt like I needed that reminder who's really in charge.
