A Small Secret Sin

I let myself take a pastry from the break room without clocking it out on the inventory system. It was just one little thing, my favorite type too, and I knew no one would notice missing one. But ever since then, every time I think about work snacks or see them in the case at the front of the shop, guilt eats away at me. Did they notice? Will someone question it now? Should I have been better about it? It wasn't a big deal but still...
