...A Bit of Playfulness with My Graduate Student...

Well, I'll admit it wasn't exactly the stodgy academic affair we both pretended. She came to my office one day looking for some feedback on her thesis chapter...and found something entirely different waiting for her instead. We started joking around, and before either of us knew it, she was practically begging me to give her a taste of some strict discipline...or maybe just the other end of that stick. I ended up playing along, in my own mild way. It was all consensual, just some adult fun between two consenting adults who were already comfortable with each other beyond the academic realm...though let's not tell anyone else about it. She's smart and capable enough to handle anything, but sometimes even the most mature minds need a little playful regression every now and then. Afterward, we got back to work on her thesis, both smiling secretly inside our heads...
