Skipping My Shift

just had one of those days where i felt like skipping my shift at work. patient was being a real pain and it’s not like the hospital couldn’t handle without me for an hour. but yeah, i ended up taking a little break and grabbing some ice cream instead. knew i shouldn't have, especially since i do care about my patients but couldn’t help myself that day.
