Forgot To Take Out The Garbage Again

Well, here I am, another day of failing to be the perfect Daddy figure. You know what happened? I forgot to take out the trash like my sweet little sub had asked me to do. Just plain old negligence, really. She left a note saying 'Please put this in the big blue bin,' and I saw it but... just didn't get around to it. It’s so unlike me to slack off on chores, usually, I’m all about setting an example. But there you go, age forty-five and still managing to mess up something as simple as taking out garbage. I felt terrible later when she found out. She gave me that disappointed look, which cut right through me. Telling her it was just a momentary lapse in my memory didn't really make things better. So I had to bend over (literally and figuratively) for some stern but loving discipline. Lesson learned, never let something so simple slip again, or there will be consequences.
