A Moment of Weakness

I recently slipped up and let my Daddy kink come out in an unexpected situation. In a heated moment during a disagreement with my partner, I found myself calling him by that name, asking for discipline instead of addressing the issue maturely. Now, I'm unsure if this is just a phase or something deeper. Anyone have insights on how to handle this? Should I bring it up as part of our dynamic or address it separately?
