A Moment of Weakness in Little-Space Mode

Professor James has always prided himself on being a man of discipline and integrity. But temptation got the better of him when she left the room briefly to take a phone call. One minute, two minutes, before long, all that was left were crumbs and an empty plate. He felt like such a naughty child being caught red-handed. And then he had to go on about how it wasn’t his fault because little boys need cookies for energy or something equally ridiculous. She laughed when she returned and called him out, but in this playful space they share, there was no lasting harm done, just an amusing reminder that even grown men can act like kids sometimes.
