I started exploring DDLG recently after years of being a nurse and caring for others. It's strange how much I've enjoyed taking on the role of an authority figure in this context, despite my professional setting typically requiring me to be nurturing rather than domineering. Playing mom to my partner felt empowering yet comforting, like finding an unexpected sense of control amidst chaos.
