just felt weird talking about it

so my husband and i are kind of into this dynamic but we dont call it anything fancy. just that i take care of him when hes having a hard time or needs to be babied, like how military spouses do sometimes with their partners on rough deployments or coming back from tours. he gets stressed out a lot in his job so its kinda our thing. we started doing this more often and it wasnt something we discussed much but just kind of evolved over time. i took on more caregiver stuff even when he wasnt really deployed but having bad days at work, you know? and id dress him up sometimes or give him special treats like a hot bath and ice cream or whatever. recently though, hes been asking for it more often which is kind of weird since usually its more sporadic. i guess its because im also taking care of our kid now so its less time to just do things for my husband. he says hes stressed out and needs the comfort but its starting to feel a bit suffocating. i dont know how to talk about it without making him feel bad or like something is wrong, you know? i mean it started as mutual but im not sure if its still that way for both of us. we never really agreed on rules or anything so now idk if hes just asking for more because he can or what. just trying to figure out how to approach this without sounding like im being a bad wife or something.
