Late Night Shift Tales

So last night, standing behind the bar till two AM? Got this one regular guy who I've been eyeing for a while. He's always in his thirties but tonight, he came in looking like he had something on his mind. We started chatting about nothing much, just life stuff, and before I knew it, we were talking kinks! It was so random, like one minute we're discussing beer prices, next thing I know, he's telling me about his soft spot for blindfolds. I've always been into a bit of everything myself. The way he described how the world just fades away when you put on that piece of fabric? Made me feel it too, even though nothing actually happened, yet. We both kind of laughed it off and ordered another round, but I could see his eyes get all dilated every time we'd joke around. Told him about some fantasies of my own. Never told anyone else this stuff before, just kept it to myself or in the steamy world of fanfiction on my phone. But somehow, with him, it felt like a safe place to let it out. He didn't make me feel weird or anything. We ended up talking till closing time. So now I'm thinking about how maybe this bar thing isn't just about mixing drinks anymore, there's all these other connections you can build too. Who knows what'll happen next week when he comes in? Maybe nothing, but it sure feels exciting to think about.
