First Time With a Student-Teacher Dynamic

Well, I've always been fascinated by literature and its power to evoke strong emotions. But lately, my interest in the dynamics between student and teacher has taken an unexpected turn. Just last week, I initiated a playful discipline scenario with one of my adult students, nothing inappropriate, but we role-played me as her strict professor demanding she complete assignments on time. She willingly complied and seemed to enjoy it. It felt exhilarating, yet oddly relieving too. But is this normal? Has anyone else tried something like this within an educational framework?
