my kinky secret and i need opinions

so i met this chick at a party last year, we both love all kinds of kink stuff. she's into everything really but lately she’s been wanting me to take on the role of like her dad or teacher... idk how to explain it exactly but its kinda authority figure type of thing. like i’m supposed to be strict and give her assignments as a joke and then when we play around it gets kinda intense bc im not used to this kind of stuff at all. it’s really fun though and she loves it, says it turns her on more than just regular kink stuff but man it makes me feel weird too. i mean like i dont want to be a real dad or teacher obviously, its just for us you know? but sometimes when we're roleplaying it feels so real that i start to second guess everything. so im asking u guys - is this normal? am i the asshole for not feeling totally okay with being her authority figure even though she’s into it and loves me still. i want our kink stuff to work out but sometimes its hard to shake these weird thoughts.
