A Carefree Afternoon at Home

Today was just one of those days when I decided to let loose as a caregiver. My client, who is in her twenties, wanted to play with the idea of being cared for like a child, and boy did we have some fun! We had ice cream for lunch (okay, technically it was dinner), then she watched cartoons while I read stories to her from her favorite childhood books. It felt silly yet so cozy, and honestly, it made my day too. Sometimes stepping into this playful dynamic reminds you how good it feels to be taken care of in ways that feel like a fun escape from reality.
