a little roleplay issue

i started seeing this girl a while back and we have been super chill about things. nothing heavy or anything just hanging out, talking, being cute to each other. she is into kink stuff so i was like hey let's try something fun, keep it light though cus im not huge on that kinda thing. so one night she asks if i would be ok with her calling me daddy and playing the role of a daughter, just as a joke for a while but maybe we could take it more serious if things go well. sounded cool to me and we started doing it. turns out i really like being called dad and feeling like this protector/provider thing. so we have been at it for a few months now and its all fun, lots of cuddles and roleplaying stuff over text or calls. but here's the thing - sometimes she will do something kinda irresponsible and im in charge so then i have to scold her and maybe give some punishment like no phone time or extra chores or whatever. and i get really into it and serious, but afterwards its just super playful again and everything is fine. this happened a few times now and each time its feels weirder and i dont know if im supposed to be taking it more seriously or what. am i being weird for getting into it as her dad? should i tone down my roleplaying or am i actually the asshole here?
