...And So It Goes...

So yeah, here I am in my forties, still married to the same guy for two decades now. We've had our ups and downs but lately we've started playing around with this DDLG thing... it's been a surprise, honestly. One night he suggested we try out the role-play as a little again, just for fun. At first, I thought he was joking because that kind of stuff never really interested me much before... but then he asked if I wanted to play along and actually be his little girl for an evening. And you know what? It sort of clicked in my mind... I mean, who doesn't want to feel cared for every once in a while, right? So I agreed... The whole thing started with him giving me one of those inflatable paddles as a warning... I'm not gonna lie, it kind of scared the crap out of me at first. But he was really gentle about it all and explained that we were just doing this for fun, to explore new things together. Over time, I found myself looking forward to these little role-plays more and more. It's a weird feeling but also oddly satisfying... I mean, one day I came home with a bad haircut and he got really upset at me like a dad would... it was odd because we never had those kinds of moments before. But then again, sometimes it felt good to just let him take charge and tell me what needed fixing. He’s also started setting up rules for me to follow when I’m in little-space... like not using my phone after dinner or putting on a specific nightgown for bed... It's funny how much of an adult you can feel even while acting like a child... but maybe that’s the point? Maybe we just needed a way to break down the barriers and be more open with each other. And honestly, it's working, I've never felt closer to him than when we're playing out these roles... And so here we are... sometimes he's my caregiver, guiding me through things and making sure everything is okay. Other times, I'm his little girl, learning from him and listening to what he has to say. It’s definitely different but it’s also refreshing. Who knew that after all these years together, there would still be room for new adventures?...
