Playing Mommy in My Nursing Life

I'm a nurse in my mid-30s and recently got into this kink where I play the role of a strict mommy to some of my patients. Now, don't get me wrong, I never cross any professional boundaries. It's just something we discuss privately with willing participants who understand it's all consensual fun outside of work. For instance, there was this one evening when I had to give out medications. One patient, a young guy in his twenties, really got into the role-play and joked that he needed some extra discipline for forgetting to take his pills earlier. We laughed about it but took it seriously enough to have a little talk afterward about responsibilities and being more accountable, all while maintaining our playful dynamic. It's silly and sometimes over-the-top, but it brings a unique connection and makes both of us giggle amidst the stresses of hospital life.
