A Small Slip-Up

I was tasked with preparing a brief for my professor yesterday afternoon. Instead of working on it diligently, I got distracted by some personal matters and didn't start until the late evening hours, far past the deadline. Feeling a sense of guilt and shame, I reminded myself that my responsibility as a caregiver in this dynamic means keeping to commitments and managing time wisely. Despite the slip-up, the assignment was completed, but the discipline I imposed on myself afterward felt necessary for maintaining the trust built between us.
