Late Realization

I recently came to terms with a peculiar kink of mine that I’ve kept buried for far too long. It started innocently enough when a friend mentioned the idea, but my mind took off in an unexpected direction. I found myself drawn to scenarios where I’m the student receiving strict discipline from a wise and authoritative teacher. The idea of earning punishment or praise based on performance is oddly exciting and comforting at the same time. Given how unconventional this might be for others, am I just overthinking it? Or could there be something genuinely appealing in these dynamics that I should explore further?
