Just Another Day in the Life
Anonymous Curious Plum #894 · General Confessions
So here I am, yet another military spouse caught up in some adult kink that doesn't even feel like a hobby anymore. It's become part of my daily routine - feeding him breakfast, making sure he has clean clothes (if he wears them), and yes, occasionally laying down for his 'disciplinary' naps. Today was no exception; I walked into the living room to find him sprawled on the couch with a comic book open but clearly not reading it. Instead of getting mad or frustrated like any normal person would, I just sighed and went to make coffee. He doesn't really need guidance, he's perfectly capable of taking care of himself. But sometimes, in this weird little game we play, it feels right to pretend he can't. I asked him about how his day was going, but instead of answering me with words like 'fine' or 'boring', he just looked at me with big puppy dog eyes and whimpered. At that point, I realized it wasn't because he needed anything from me - we both know what this is all about. It's not unhealthy, per se, but sometimes I wonder if there’s something wrong with pretending to take care of an adult who doesn’t need it. So here's my question: is this just a normal part of having a kink-driven relationship, or am I somehow missing out on more meaningful ways to connect?
