... A Rule-Breaking Moment ...
Anonymous Cherry Cupcake #869 · General Confessions
I’m a grad-school dropout now... I’ve been Daddy for my sub for almost two years now. We had this rule where we’re not supposed to eat dessert unless it’s an official treat day... But yesterday, I broke that rule... I saw these chocolate chip cookies in the kitchen... and just couldn’t resist... They looked so good, you know? So I took one and ate it... It tasted amazing... but then I felt this weird guilt building up inside me... Like I’d disappointed her somehow... Even though I’m sure she wouldn’t mind too much if she knew. But still, breaking a rule feels different when you’re in this kind of dynamic... There’s just this weight to it, like you’ve let down someone who trusts you completely... Maybe that’s why I liked being Daddy in the first place? To feel that sense of responsibility and trust? Or maybe because it lets me be a little more playful and less serious sometimes... It’s confusing, really... One moment I’m thinking about how to bake her favorite cookies just right for treat day... And then next, wondering if she would ever forgive me for breaking our dessert rule...
