I Broke My Little Rule

Oh my gosh, I just had this big meltdown over a crumb! We've been playing with DDLG for almost a year now and we set up these little rules to keep things cute and disciplined. One of them is that I’m not allowed to eat sweets without asking first, especially cookies or candy. But last night, after he went to bed, I just couldn’t resist the chocolate chip cookie calling my name from the jar on the counter. I ate three before I could stop myself! This morning, I felt so guilty and worried about breaking that rule. It's silly, but these little rules mean a lot to us because they keep our play space safe and sweet. Now I’m scared he’ll think I can’t be trusted with bigger things too.
