Late Night Reflections on a Caregiver's Dilemma
Anonymous Naughty Bean #349 · General Confessions
I've been swinging between little space and caregiver roles for the past few years. Sometimes it feels like a release, like I can let everything go when I’m in my role as someone’s little, other times, it feels stifling and confusing. Tonight, after yet another round of caregiving where I felt more trapped than liberated, I found myself reflecting on why I do this at all. The physical aspect is intense, to be honest. There's something raw about being held accountable for your actions by someone who knows you inside and out, whips, belts, spankings, it’s a visceral response to whatever triggers we've set up beforehand. Tonight, it was more than usual. I felt like the punishment should have been worse for some of my recent slip-ups. Afterward, though, lying there with bruises beginning to form, it just feels... empty. I keep wondering if this is what a genuine caregiver would feel like, someone who's deeply invested in taking care of another person. It’s hard to separate the consensual roleplay from that feeling because sometimes, even as the one being taken care of, I wonder if there's someone out there who actually needs me. Not just for the physical or emotional rush but genuinely needs a caregiver. But back to tonight, there was something different about the way things unfolded. It wasn't just routine this time; it felt forced and heavy with unspoken tension. As much as I love the intensity, it feels like an escape from reality rather than engagement with it. There's a part of me that longs for more meaningful connection, but I can’t seem to get past these dynamics we’ve established. So here I am, typing this late at night, trying to understand myself and my desires better. It’s exhausting trying to figure out if this is just a phase or something deeper, but I suppose that's part of the journey. Maybe tomorrow will bring clarity or perhaps more confusion, either way, it seems like another round of reflection will be on the horizon.
