a quiet failure

i failed my hubby today. i was supposed to make sure the laundry got done and instead i ended up spacing out in front of the tv for hours. it's not a big deal, right? but when he comes home and sees all that needs to be taken care of, i know i let him down. it makes me feel so small and useless sometimes.
