Taking Care of My Own

I'm in my 30s now, and I've found a unique way to balance my life as a trans woman. It started organically when I began looking after a younger man who needed guidance but struggled with his independence. He called me 'Caregiver,' not 'Daddy' or anything like that, just what felt right for us both. It's been empowering and liberating, helping him grow while also affirming my own identity. No one else needs to understand it; I know it works for us.
