a doctor's secret life

i never thought i'd find this kind of connection outside my clinic walls doc stuff is just me trying to heal people but here it’s about something totally different. when i switch roles and become a little or take on the caregiver role, it feels like both worlds collide. one day, i was completely spent from work, came home and couldn’t handle being an adult anymore so i called my partner and said i needed them to be my caregiver for the night. we had this setup before but never took it this far. once they arrived, it felt surreal, me laying on the couch like a kid waiting for instructions. they were strict with chores, meals, even bedtime stories. physically, everything was intense - their hands all over me, making sure i did my chores right or getting into trouble if i didn’t follow rules. there’s something about being treated as this fragile little thing and it made me feel safe but also really humiliated in the best way. ended up crying a bit during some of it too but that just felt so real and vulnerable. after, we cuddled and talked about it - how much it meant to both of us to explore these adult sides we usually hide. now when i need it, i’ll text them asking if they want to take care of me again
