confused but liking it

hey everyone i just started exploring ddlg stuff with my partner and its kinda blowing my mind. we ve only done a few sessions but i feel like such a different person sometimes, really embracing this submissive role even though id never thought of myself that way before. hes been so patient and supportive guiding me through it all. im starting to enjoy the dynamic more each time we play but worried if its normal to have these changes in personality come up during our sessions? i want everything to stay consensual and safe but am still figuring out my own limits and comfort zones as well. any advice for a new player trying to understand this journey better?
