Just Figuring Out DDLG

Hey everyone, so I recently started exploring DDLG with my partner and it's been a wild ride! We just had our first official scene where I got into some cute little-girl role-play outfits that they picked out for me. It felt so sweet but also kinda embarrassing at the same time, you know? And then we did this really playful spanking afterward, definitely not hurtful or anything, more like a fun, light-hearted kind of thing to teach me lessons about being a good 'little'. I'm still trying to figure out if all this is normal and how to improve. Any tips from experienced players out there?
