I Confess: Daddy Kink Since I Came Out as Trans

Anonymous Giggly Peach #735 · General Confessions

I'm a trans guy in my twenties. Transitioned late last year and it felt like the most freeing thing ever, but lately, I've been wrestling with this unexpected kink that's popped up since then. It started when I was thinking about all the support I got from older men during transition. They were patient and nurturing, kind of like a dad, you know? The more I thought about it, the more my head went down a rabbit hole where these thoughts turned into fantasies involving a daddy figure in them. I never felt this way before transitioning. There was just no room for such feelings when I was living as my assigned gender at birth. But now... it's all-consuming sometimes. It gets me off to think about someone who can be firm and loving, the kind of dad who sets boundaries but also cares deeply. I tried looking up some stuff online, forums mostly, trying to figure out if this is just a phase or something I need to come to terms with long-term. There are other guys like me in these spaces too, which is comforting yet terrifying at the same time. What does it mean for my relationships? Am I weird for finding comfort and strength in such an intense daddy figure now? So here's what happened: My therapist suggested getting back into kink stuff as a way to explore this side of me further. We agreed on safe, consensual exploration with someone who understands the dynamics involved. It felt so good but also left me questioning if I’m just trying too hard or if this is something real and necessary for my mental health. Am I the asshole here? Should I be more worried about where these thoughts are coming from rather than embracing them as a new part of myself?
