The Sketchbook Secret

Anonymous Cherry Duckling #492 · General Confessions

I've always thought of myself as an artist who keeps things light and playful. But there's something I’ve been hiding in my sketchbook that feels like it stains the paper with every page turned. It’s this odd compulsion to draw scenes where I’m a little, almost child-like, yet very much aware of adult desires and scenarios. I never show them to anyone, not even close friends who know about other aspects of me. There's something so intimately tied to my own secret space that it feels wrong to share. But it also leaves this emptiness inside. Am I the only one who finds comfort or liberation in keeping such things private, yet wondering what would happen if they were shared? Would anyone understand these sketches as more than just a silly phase or a dark curiosity?
