caregiver conundrum

so i started this roleplay thing with my partner about a year ago. it was her idea, she said she wanted me to take care of her and be like her guardian or something. we made up rules and everything, kinda formal at first but then it just felt more natural as time went on. at the beginning, i kind of felt weird, you know? like, im not a daddy-type person at all. but she said it wasnt about me being her dad or anything, just that she wanted someone to look out for her and be there when shes feeling down or whatever. so i tried. it worked surprisingly well actually. we talked through stuff and i would give her advice or help with problems in a way that felt supportive but not overbearing. it wasnt just like strict rules, it was more about being a sounding board for decisions too. but recently there have been these moments where... things get physical? its kind of blurry but we kiss or cuddle and stuff like that when im her caregiver role. its weird because in other times were very platonic friends and dont really act on any sexual tension at all. so i end up confusing myself a lot. is it wrong to be her care-giver and still have these moments of... affection? should we stop or try to figure out if there is more going on beneath the surface here? im not sure how to approach this, its hard to talk about when one minute were so close in a roleplay way but then totally distant.
