A Moment of Weakness
Anonymous Dizzy Moth #633 · General Confessions
Today at the clinic, after a particularly long session with a patient who was emotionally draining, I found myself succumbing to the temptation to indulge in a forbidden treat, cookies that are strictly off-limits during work hours. It’s an unspoken rule that I adhere to diligently, as it sets an example for maintaining professionalism and focus. Yet, despite my resolve, fatigue took its toll, and the urge was overwhelming. Eating those cookies felt like a small rebellion against routine, but one that leaves me feeling both guilty and slightly rebellious, a bittersweet indulgence.
