daddy's day off

so yeah it was just one of those days where i decided to call in sick at work and take a break from the constant stress of retail. i knew exactly what i wanted that day - some quality time with my little, away from everything else. we set up our space early, and she was so excited to see me. i mean, she's 18+ now but when she gets into her role, it's like she regresses right back to the baby stage. anyway, we started off slow, cuddling and talking - she always has such insightful things to say even though she acts so young sometimes. then as usual, she asked me for a story before naptime. man i love seeing how my words affect her when i read to her like that. after the story came the usual after-naptime session, which was just amazing - we both got lost in it. and afterwards? well...it's hard not to spoil something so innocent with those kinds of sessions, but she always knows exactly what she wants too. so yeah, when we finished up that part of our day, i felt totally satisfied but also wanted more. that evening we went out for dinner at this fancy place i booked in advance - it was her birthday after all. the rest of the night? well, let's just say we both got plenty of extra spoiling...
