Little Mistake

I'm Sarah, and I turned thirty this year. I just started exploring DDLG with my partner Alex, who's a few years older than me. We're both very careful and consensual about everything we do together. But today, I did something that made me feel so small and guilty. Alex had asked me to clean the kitchen before leaving for work this morning. He explained it was part of our agreement as he wanted to maintain a sense of responsibility in me while playing little. It wasn't much, just wiping down counters and loading the dishwasher. But I got distracted by my phone and ended up not doing it. When Alex came home, we talked about it. I felt so ashamed and like a child who had disappointed their parent. He was understanding but firm. We discussed why I broke our agreement and how to prevent it from happening again. It made me realize just how important this dynamic is for both of us.
