Just Another Art Session?
Anonymous Dizzy Doll #324 · General Confessions
So last week, during my usual Thursday night painting session at the studio, I found myself slipping into this weird headspace. I don't know if it was the soft lighting or just that we were working on such delicate sketches, but suddenly, there I was acting like a total child with my partner, well, more like she was taking care of me like one of her kids. It started small: calling her 'Mom,' letting her choose my brushes for me. Then it escalated to me sitting in that kid-sized chair and coloring outside the lines while she scolded and guided me back into focus. Ended up with her wrapping me in a blanket, tucking me in on a couch like I was five again. I'm not sure if this is something we should explore more or just leave it as an oddity from one night. What do you folks think? Am I the only one who occasionally slips into these roles when creative energy flows?
