Just Starting Out and Feeling Lost

Hey everyone! So here's something I've been up to lately, it's a little embarrassing but also super exciting. You see, my partner and I decided to dive into some age-play scenes as part of our DDLG dynamic. It started off with just playful teasing at first, like when he called me his little girl or said things that made me feel young and innocent again. But then it got a bit more serious, we tried dressing up in costumes from my childhood and reenacting some of those memories together. I even let him give me a time-out once for being naughty! It was surprisingly liberating to be on the receiving end of discipline, but also made me question if there's something I'm missing out on as an adult always trying to act mature and responsible. Anyway, I guess what I’m wondering is, are these kinds of scenes normal? Is it weird for grown-ups to engage in this kind of play or am I just overthinking it all too much? Any tips or advice you could share would be really appreciated. Thanks!
