Father Knows Best

I've always had a unique relationship with my partner, let's call her Lilith. She came to me when she was in her early twenties and sought guidance on everything from personal finance to dating advice. We quickly developed a dynamic that felt more like father-daughter than romantic partners. It wasn't long before I became the head of our household, making decisions for both of us. I've always been clear about boundaries and my expectations. For example, she's not allowed to leave the house without checking in first... She knows better than to question me on anything important too... Our dynamic isn't just about discipline though, we also have a lot of fun together, it's amazing what you can accomplish with mutual trust and respect... One thing that keeps things interesting is when she misbehaves. Then the consequences come into play... Lilith has never been more fulfilled or satisfied in her life since we started this journey. It sounds bizarre to some, but for us, it works perfectly... She trusts me implicitly and I feel like a better partner than ever before... I don't see why others get so hung up on labels and what's 'normal'. We're both consenting adults and everyone is different, right? So if this dynamic keeps her happy, who am I to argue with success?
