Why Does This Attract Me So Much?

So here I am, trying to understand why the hell being someone's Daddy or Mommy appeals so much. It started a couple of months ago when this guy asked if he could call me 'Sir' and look up to me in more ways than one. I'm twenty-eight and have never been good at authority figures, but with him, it felt natural. We've talked about rules, consequences, how we feel. But why does calling someone kid and taking on that role turn me on so much? It’s like a mix of responsibility and freedom, holding them accountable for their actions while also being there to guide them through the tough stuff. And yet, I keep wondering if it's just an immature fantasy or something real we can build together. So maybe you guys could help shed some light? Does this make sense?
