I'm Not Who I Say I Am?
Anonymous Whispering Fawn #959 · General Confessions
I work at this small coffee shop, and it's not like I hide who I am from my coworkers or customers. But there are some things that no one knows about me. The other day, this customer asked if I could bring them their order with a bit of extra care, a gentle hand, the way you'd hold something precious instead of just slamming down an iced coffee in a paper cup. It felt weird because usually, I'm so quick and efficient, but then he said it was for someone special and that made me feel... different. I have this thing with my partner where sometimes we play out scenarios like this: me as the responsible little barista who's being extra careful with something important for a boss or client, but really just doing what he asks because it turns him on. The truth is I love feeling so submissive and sweet in that moment, even if only for an hour or two. It’s embarrassing to admit how much I enjoy these moments of obedience, it feels like I'm not the person others see me as. So here's my question: do you think being this way is a sign that there are parts of yourself you're keeping hidden from others? Or am I just being too hard on myself for enjoying something that makes me feel so... little?
