Confused About Little Play at Work

Anonymous Giggly Cub #753 · General Confessions

I work at a small bookstore as a cashier and have been for over two years now. I'm in my early twenties and really enjoy the job, but lately, something's shifted inside me. I've recently started experimenting with little play, mostly online with someone who is very experienced. It makes me feel like... well, it just feels good to be taken care of and disciplined sometimes. Anyway, a few weeks ago, this guy came into the store. He was one of those customers you can't help but notice, tall, handsome, that kind of thing. We started talking more frequently about books, and I found myself looking forward to seeing him every week. It wasn’t just casual small talk; there were little winks and nods that made me feel... special. Last week, we had a heated debate on literary styles (he prefers hardcovers over e-books) and ended up talking for an hour past closing time. I let him take me to a coffee shop nearby after that, just us two grown-ups chatting about everything under the moon. It was like we connected in ways no one else ever has. Then last night, something happened. We were in my little space, and he took on a Daddy role. He's not exactly my daddy or anything serious; it’s just this kink we play with online. But when I was at work today, every moment felt charged with that intensity from our session. I found myself daydreaming about him constantly. This morning, as I was ringing up his purchase, he looked over and said, “You look distracted.” It startled me for a second, but then I blushed and mumbled something about having a lot on my mind. After he left, I couldn’t shake off the feeling that maybe... maybe our little play sessions were starting to affect how we see each other. Now I'm unsure if what happened online should stay confined there or if there’s potential for real connection beyond it. Am I crossing boundaries by letting myself feel this way at work? Or is it okay to explore these things with someone who respects and consents to the same kinks? What do you think, folks?
