Lost in Little Space

Anonymous Fuzzy Star #783 · General Confessions

I've been this college student's Mommy for about six months now. We found each other on an anonymous site, and it was like a breath of fresh air, or so I thought at first. She's in her early twenties, but she feels more like a little girl who wants to be taken care of and disciplined. It started as just playing pretend online, and then we escalated into phone calls where I talked tough and stern, making her do homework and chores she was avoiding. But now, it's gotten serious: meeting up in person for these sessions where I act out my role as the strict Mommy and she becomes this little girl needing guidance. It's strange because on one hand, it feels liberating to have a safe space to explore these dynamics, but deep down, there’s a sadness that accompanies this. Every time we meet, I worry if she’s really okay with what she wants. She says everything is consensual and that she enjoys her growth under my care, but sometimes, the loneliness creeps in when I think about how much more complex our relationship has become than just playacting. It feels like something deeper is being touched here, and I’m not sure if it’s healthy or right for us. Am I doing this all wrong? Is there a better way to approach being her Mommy without feeling so torn inside?
