A Moment of Weakness?

Well, I suppose everyone has their off days. I’ve got this setup here where I’m my own boss, so there’s a certain amount of self-discipline that comes with it. Today though? Not so much. The other day, the clock ticked past noon and I knew I should be making a lunch break to keep things orderly, but instead, I let myself fall into this... odd little fantasy session. I’m not talking about anything explicit here, mind you; just some daydreaming that left me feeling a bit out of sorts when reality kicked back in. So there I was, late for lunch and feeling a tad guilty for letting work slip because of it. It’s funny how something as trivial as that can feel like a serious lapse in discipline. Sometimes, you’re your own worst critic.
