Forgot My Homework Again

So yeah, last week I skipped doing my homework for a silly reason. It's not like we're in high school anymore and it's not graded or anything, I'm an adult taking night classes just because I want to learn more stuff. But my partner gave me this whole lecture about following through with responsibilities and how I should know better by now. She even said something along the lines of 'if you were a child, you wouldn't get away with that.' It felt weirdly like a lesson I should have learned back in high school or college, but apparently, adult life still requires reminders.
