I've always thought of myself as quite traditional in my lifestyle and relationships. As a professor in my forties, I never imagined that there could be something more out there for me to explore beyond the conventional paths of romance and partnership. Yet, one day, it all changed during an unusually candid conversation with a close friend who opened up about their own experiences.
