That One Time at the Library

So I've never really explored DDLG stuff much, even though I knew plenty of people who did. But last week in the library, I was browsing some books when this guy walked by, tall, dark hair, looked like he could be a professor or something. He caught my eye, and we ended up talking about some obscure book. It was pretty intense how fast things moved after that. We exchanged numbers, and later that night, we Skyped for what felt like hours. He suggested the DDLG thing, I guess I'd never thought of it because I just assumed it wasn't for me. But you know, curiosity killed the cat... or in this case, made me feel things I hadn't expected. We didn't go all-in on any roleplay that first time, but there was a real connection between us. And when he started talking about the dynamic, I found myself getting really excited and turned on by it, despite my initial skepticism. The thought of him being in control somehow feels liberating to me now. It's strange how open-minded one can become once they try something out of their comfort zone.
