Daddy's Day Out

So yeah, last weekend I had a session with my little. We were supposed to watch a movie and cuddle, but somehow it ended up with me teaching her how to make coffee, not something she’s particularly keen on, mind you. She always complains about the bitter taste and prefers instant stuff. Anyway, halfway through making this damn beverage, I found myself lecturing her like a schoolteacher from some old sitcom, which was quite amusing really. We ended up having an actual conversation about my youth, not that it's relevant or anything. Then she decided to try making coffee herself, and let’s just say it took three attempts before the stuff was drinkable. I can’t help but laugh at how much I’ve learned to enjoy the role of being a patient teacher when we play this out. Oh well, it was definitely an unexpected turn from our usual cuddling and pampering sessions.
