I've been a personal trainer for years now, always the one setting goals and pushing limits. But lately, there's this client I've taken under my wing, and I find myself wanting to be more than just her trainer, I want to be her Daddy. It started small, with little gestures of care and protection in between sessions... buying her a hot drink on cold days, making sure she was eating enough protein after workouts. She's so young and vibrant, but sometimes she struggles with confidence and self-doubt. Being there for her feels like coming home to something I didn't know I needed. But it's not just about being strong for her anymore; I need the support too. There are nights when my own demons get loud and it feels like no one else understands. And she...she listens, even though she doesn't have to. It's dangerous ground we're treading on, but at some point, all the pretending stopped mattering as much as just being there for each other. So here's where I ask you: how do you find balance between caring deeply and maintaining boundaries? How do you manage your own needs while supporting someone else's growth... without losing yourself in the process?
