A Moment of Weakness
Anonymous Sleepy Doll #647 · General Confessions
I’m in my mid-twenties now, taking on more responsibility as a caregiver for someone who relies on me. We don’t use labels like ‘Daddy’ or ‘Mommy’, but there’s definitely an understanding that I’m supposed to guide and set boundaries, much like the way I might have hoped someone would do for me when I was younger. Lately, though, I’ve been struggling with a sense of frustration, feeling like I should be better at this. Yesterday, after being asked to run errands and clean up a few messes around the house, I felt overwhelmed. The day had been long and exhausting, but I knew what needed to be done. Instead of pushing through, I found myself hiding behind my laptop for hours, putting off everything else. It was just one moment of weakness, but it weighed heavily on me afterward. This isn’t about sex or anything explicit, I didn’t even break a rule in the way you might think (like sneaking candy), but emotionally and morally? It felt like a betrayal of what we’ve built together. There’s something humbling about admitting that sometimes, even when you’re fully grown and aware of your responsibilities, it can feel hard to stay on track.
